And sometimes it’s hard cuz even Buddha played out fantasies
Of dastardly bastard deeds - Ain’t no one claimin’ tragedies
Manageries of shattered dreams, shattered so dramatically
It’s sad to see human beings lacking in humanity
Losin’ hold of strategies, incapable of managing
The overwhelming scrambling of what we once were channeling
Turning to the travesty renaming it reality
While leaving out the majesty when painting their analyses
Tapestries of tangled webs can be weaved to add in peace
We gotta focus on the malady to ban it’s happening
But not to be in enameling the hazarding
Onto a canopy of what the can it be why can’t we see
Cuz also gallantry is galloping and battling
The demons that are challenging our standing when the balance spins
And when we’re clambering for family you have it grin
So grab it kid, there ain’t no way we’ll let the madness win

My past, I gotta live with it when memory stings
And no matter how justified it seems that the arrogance is
I’ll look back and every moment that I dared to be a dick
In the last I’ll be haunted (and) you’ll be there in the mix
Barin’ witness to endless spring we barely sipped
Carelessly flipped book pages that should nary be missed
instead we merrily picked nits from the threads of care and the bliss
And I’m not sayin’ we shouldn’t pick out the eggs of the lice
just that we should take more care with this egg of this life
cuz at the end of the night, we’ll be mendin’ insight
reflected in edges of eyes ‘n’ wish we tended to light
